• Paul Kelsey Williams has generously provided his short history of Columbia Heights and a history of Belmont Street. Mr William's business (Kelsey & Associates) is researching building histories for clients.

• James Brooke was born in 1940 and lived into adulthood in the Columbia Heights area. In this account he shares his memories. I am sure others will appreciate it as much as I have.

• Jim Hamill was a resident of Petworth from his birth in 1926 to 1950. His mother lived for a time on Monroe St. Now a resident of Michigan, Mr Hamill reminisces about growing up in the area. Thanks much Mr Hammill.

• Columbia Heights resident Kateri Ellison submitted this Time Magazine article about the challenges facing modest income communities to share equally in the telecommunications revolution. She says that "this is one of my favorite articles on the subject of computers, minorities, urban communities, etc.".

• Lisa Martins Halloran-Glenn earliest memories were of her childhood on Columbia Rd. in Adams-Morgan in the 1950's. Now living in Texas, she looks back to those times.
